Shipping and Returns
Order processing time

From the initial order verification, quality checking and packaging it up can take up to 1 - 2 business days to process and dispatch orders.
Orders processed by 5 pm on a business day (Monday- Friday) will be dispatched the following day. If placed on Friday, we will dispatch on Monday. Orders placed on a Public holiday will be dispatched the following business day.
A confirmation email will be sent to you once dispatched.

Shipping

​SKIM Boutique currently only delivers to locations within Australia. All orders are shipped out with Australia Post
- Parcel Post $10 (3-5 business days). Free parcel post shipping for orders over $99.
- Express Shipping for $13 (1-3 business days).

All orders will be provided with a tracking number upon dispatch.
​
Unfortunately from time to time our postage partners may have the odd issue with their delivery duration and your parcel may take a few days extra. We apologies for any inconvenience caused, however, please be patient and just wait a few extra days.

We are not responsible if your parcel is delayed or gets lost in the mail with shipping.
​
Any charges for returned orders due to customer error (incorrect address, refused/undeliverable orders, etc...) will be the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

Please choose carefully as refunds are not available for change of mind purchases.
​
Refunds may be available for faulty items in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. To request an exchange/refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
If an item you have purchased from us is faulty please get in contact within 14 days of purchase by contacting skimboutique@live.com.au to discuss your options for exchange, refund or credit note. Please provide an image of the fault so we can assist you further.

If 14 days have gone by from the date of purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Items can be returned via post or in person at the Summer Hill salon. To arrange an in person return, please email us to arrange a suitable time. Any shipping cost to return the item will be borne by the customer.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
​
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
​
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
​
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchange/Credit notes
​
Exchange and credit note requests for change of mind can be made within 14 days of purchase by contacting skimboutique@live.com.au. To request an exchange/refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not return items back to us before contacting us first.
To be eligible for an exchange/credit note, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Returns must be also arrive back to us in their original condition (undamaged and able to be resold).

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or wholesaler.
​

The shipping cost to return the item will be borne by the customer. The shipping cost to post out the product in exchange will be borne by the customer.

Credit notes are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Credit notes can only be redeemed on products and not salon services.
